Who We Are

Born From a Passion For Childhood Joy

JoyNest was founded in 2017 by childhood friends Arjun Kapoor and Meera Nair — two parents who believed Mumbai deserved a world-class family entertainment destination. After years of taking their children to international play centres abroad, they decided to bring that magic home.

Starting with just 8,000 sq. ft. and three activity zones, JoyNest quickly captured the hearts of Mumbai families. Today, we span 35,000 sq. ft. across Phoenix Palladium's third level, hosting over 50,000 visitors annually.

Our name says it all — “Joy” meets “Nest” (a warm, welcoming home) — a vibrant playground where children's imaginations run wild and families reconnect over shared adventures.

Seven Years of Milestones

2017

JoyNest Opens Its Doors

Launched at Phoenix Palladium with 8,000 sq. ft., a trampoline park, soft play area and café. Over 2,000 families visited in the first month.

2019

Major Expansion & Award Recognition

Expanded to 20,000 sq. ft., added rock climbing wall and arcade zone. Won 'Best Family Entertainment Centre' by TimeOut Mumbai for the first time.

2021

Post-Pandemic Relaunch & Premium Upgrade

Relaunched with enhanced safety protocols, a brand-new birthday party suite, sensory-friendly Sunday sessions and upgraded equipment across all zones.

2024

Full Premium Renovation & 35,000 sq. ft.

Completed a full premium renovation reaching 35,000 sq. ft., hosting 50,000+ annual visitors. Celebrating 7 incredible years of family memories!
